If anyone is interested in trying out the new internet video service Joost I now have beta invites. Just post your email address in the comments section and I will send you an invite.
So what is Joost exactly? Joost is an internet TV service from the guy who created Kazaa and Skype.
From their website:
Joost is a new way of watching TV on the internet. With Joost, you get all the things you love about TV, including a high-quality full-screen picture, hundreds of full-length shows and easy channel-flipping.
I’ll be back with a review later, but for now let me know if you want an invite!! Just post in the comments section with your email address:
An Inconvenient Truth April 5
I just got through watching “An Inconvenient Truth” for the first time. If this movie is not a call to action on climate change I don’t know what is. If you have not seen it, do yourself and the world a favor and take 2 hours out of your day to watch it. Once you have here are some good places to go to start doing something about the problem of global warming:
http://www.climatecrisis.net is the home site for “An Inconvenient Truth”
http://www.nativeenergy.com is a site where you can offset your carbon emissions (for less than you might think)
http://www.stopglobalwarming.org/ another great resource to learn about global warming and what you can do to help.
American Cannibal April 4

I just got back from seeing American Cannibal over at Cinema Village, and I would recommend it to anyone who is fascinated by the craze for reality television in our society. The documentary follows a couple of smart, intelligent, and moral writers as they sell their souls to the machine that is Reality TV. Desperate for work they start pitching reality Tv show ideas only to be “successful” in their pitch of an idea for a reality show where people end up eating each other at the end. Their sellout mirrors our own as we seem to crave more and more reality with less and less substance. Anyways, this is a great film that deserves your support…so turn off Fear Factor and get down to Cinema Village to check it out!
